Dr. Chau is a highly-qualified veterinarian from Virginia Tech with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, certifications in Veterinary Acupuncture and Canine Rehabilitation, and 23 years of experience in the DC metro area, who is an award-winning owner of two hospitals known for her advanced specialized training and excellent reputation among both clients and colleagues.

Dr. Hendrickson is a veterinarian and Virginia Tech classmate of Dr. Chau's with over 25 years of experience practicing in the DC area, who joined Family Vet in 2019 and is a passionate traveler, scuba diver, and paddle boarder with a loving multi-pet household.

Dr. Susan (Soo Young) Kim is a dedicated veterinarian who earned her DVM from Michigan State University and returned to Family Veterinary Hospital, where she previously worked as an assistant for seven years, focusing on soft tissue surgery and dermatology and prioritizing clear communication and compassionate, personalized care.

Dr. Cherrone, DVM, DACVS, earned her degrees from Cornell and Ohio State and completed advanced surgical training at the Animal Medical Center and Long Island Veterinary Specialists. With 20+ years of experience, she's a board-certified surgeon skilled in soft tissue, orthopedic, and neuro procedures.

Dr. Richard Greene, DVM, DACVS, is a board-certified surgeon with over 40 years of experience. A CSU graduate, he has lectured worldwide, published in leading veterinary texts, and performed thousands of surgeries throughout his distinguished career.

Dr. Migden, a Long Island native, earned her DVM from Ross University and her BS from the University of Delaware. She's passionate about surgery and internal medicine. Outside work, she enjoys movies, reading, and exploring new restaurants around NYC.

Dr. Justin Uhl is a board-certified small animal veterinary surgeon (DACVS-SA) and Summit Veterinary Surgery Service founder with degrees from UC Davis and the University of Minnesota, specializing in orthopedic, neurologic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures, and is a widely published expert and journal reviewer in veterinary surgery.

ANDREA has worked with animals her whole life. She started in veterinary medicine in 2019 and has an interest in practice management. She is our resident Swiftie and in her free time she enjoys making people laugh and spending time with friends, family, and her dogs at home - Milo, Cleo, and Grover.

Kaitlin, from Enid, OK, has worked as a Kennel Assistant, Dog Trainer, and now Veterinary Assistant. She holds degrees in Biology and Health & Sports Science and plans to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She loves her five dogs, movies, the outdoors, and time with her niece.

Maisie, from Southern California, earned her Biology degree from CSU San Bernardino in 2020 and is applying to vet school. Inspired by helping her injured dog, she hopes to practice equine or aquatic medicine. She enjoys birdwatching, hiking, painting, and caring for her pets.

Braden, from Choctaw, OK, earned his Biology degree from UCO in 2020 and is pursuing his DVM at Oklahoma State University. He aims to specialize in small and exotic animals. He has two dogs, Milk and Kendrick, and a ball python named Melly. He enjoys the gym, basketball, and family time.

Darby, originally from central Arkansas, is a Certified and Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 2016 and became registered in Oklahoma in 2021. She loves being an advocate for animals and enjoys park trips and outdoor time with her son, Ayden.
